And then I decided to go with the in-character thing anyway. It's a bit short and rough, but that should fix itself over time as I get more used to the character and what sort of writing style I want to use on here.

Bumped to point out new collection totals and to draw attention to the question of whether to write these adventure logs in character, or at least have short stories and whatnot.

Being Queen of Nex requires a lot less governing than it used to—now it's all about wandering around the ever-changing realms and doing a variety of tasks. But the change is a welcome one, since fighting monsters and hoarding loot is far more interesting than paperwork. Sometimes my travels bring me across strange items with bizarre yet powerful abilities, but none have more allure to me than cards. Their benefits may not be significant alone, but the ancient magic they hold is best utilized by hoarding as many as possible. Though extremely rare, there are ways to stack the odds in my favor and ensure that I am the one with the last laugh.

Saia is stronger than ever, though I wish I could say differently about his odor—I suppose that's the problem with having undead following you. I am wary of the way he looks at Gyoza, but as long as I keep whetting Saia's appetite on other Du**li**s (sorry, the ink always smudges when I try to write D***li**) and stale candies, Gyoza should be as safe as they are adorable. Tuftbirb is adjusting quite nicely to their role in the team, and they seem to be bonding more with Sigrdrifa than the others—not that I can discern more from their conversations than squawking and flapping from Tuftbirb and ominous staring from Sigrdrifa. Hasher the Thrasher Fiend is still trying to get the Iron Tauntbot to play fetch—maybe I should see about adding fetch to Tauntbot's runic programming.

I found a tentacle in a chest today, and I could tell right away that it was a powerful item. It is now my lucky tentacle and should greatly aid me in my quest to collect everything. The only issue that has arisen from its presence is Regalis winking (or is that blinking?) at me any time she notices I have it.
