Imler and Imling combos are fun.  Here are some of mine (no nethers or demon nethers used).  Please keep in mind I played an older version of Siralim so I am not 100% sure some of these setups would work on later iterations.

- Rancid Imling with Countervail (from Diamond Imling) - Pretty much guarantees immortality to you Imling/Imler Combo - action set to attack
- Mythril Imler with Druthers (from Sandstone Imler) - Both share in eachother's artifact and defense stats.  You can easily substitute Druthers for another ability like the Brim Smith's Dissection, though I cannot confirm whether the Imling would also get the 200% attack bonus - action set to attack

- Rancid Imling with Countervail (from Diamond Imling) - Pretty much guarantees immortality to you Imling/Imler Combo - action set to provoke
- Iron Imler with Midnight feast (from Fallen Carnage) - With Rancid provoking this should maximize chances of your Imler racking up turns and starting a Midnight Chain Train on your enemies.  Every time the Imling gets attacked your Imler's attack increases by 25% thus increasing the chances of a successful chain the next turn - action set to attack

- Putrid Imling with Midnight Feast (from Fallen Carnage) - Will move up to the front of the queue after his partner's turn - action set to attack
- Mythril Imler with Itchy Finger (from Skeleton Marksman) - Gives an attack boost to the Imling. Everytime he moves up to the front the line, his Imling partner will follow right after with an opportunity to chain together some kills - action set to attack

- Putrid Imling with Doppelganger (from Paranormal Slime) - Attack to boost the Imler
- Silver Imler with Midnight feast (from Fallen Carnage) - Will get a huge attack boost thanks to Doppelganger, and hopefully set off a decent kill chain - action set to attack

For these setups I would put your IM combo in the same row with a Topaz Paragon equipped with an attack boost of your choice (ie. Dark Braze, Honed Blades).  Optionally you can also put  a Brownie Captain (with another attack boost) in the same column as your main attacker.

Ouch lol....I truly lament your loss of demon dust and time spent harvesting for that not so perfect combo.

Imler with Doppelganger and other failed strategies

So I made a nether demon boulder Imler and a nether demon Putrid Imling

Boulder Imler:
Breaking Point - 300% attack increase when imling dies
Doppelganger - When it attacks an enemy copy all stats
Calamity - When a creature dies deal 50% attack value to all enemies

Putrid Imling:
Mimicry - After Imler partner attacks Imling moves to top of the action queue
Cradle to the Grave - After dying, resurrect to 1 hp with diminishing 20% probability after the 1st resurrection
Final Oblation: After defending, creature dies and deals 100% of it's missing health to all enemies

What I wanted to happen was

Imling -> Final Oblation ->resurrects to 1hp
Imler -> 300% atk increase -> Calamity
Imler attacks -> transforms into enemy and gains their attack stat and  still retains the 300% damage multiplier -> Putrid imling Mimicry moves it to top of action queue
Putrid Imling -> Final Oblation
Imler -> 300% atk increase -> Calamity

But unfortunately it doesn't do that it does this

Imling -> Final Oblation ->resurrects to 1hp
Imler -> 300% atk increase -> Calamity
Imler attacks -> transforms into enemy and gains their attack stat DOES NOT RETAIN the 300% damage multiplier -> Putrid imling Mimicry moves it to top of action queue (Still recognises the transformed Imler as it's partner)
Putrid Imling -> Final Oblation
Imler -> DOES NOT GAIN 300% atk increase, does not consider itself an Imler anymore, even though the Imling still thinks of it as one -> Calamity

If only it worked out like I imagined, ah the sadness.

Also 'when attacked' doesn't activate when a monster dodges, only if the monster is hit by an attack.
I think it should be adjusted to 'When hit by an attack'.

I had such high hopes for my Airslayer wyvern with Sacrosanction :(

I also got Impaler Banshee's ability incorrect, I was hoping possession would swap it's ability with the enemy therefore giving the enemy possession instead and impaler with whatever and stun them for 2 turns. It was going to be my counter for bone scythe reapers, skeleton mortar man and the no-spells allowed zombies. Now I wish instead that possession would take the enemy's ability and instead of stunning just inflict them with scorn for 2 rounds.

The only thing which isn't failing me is Disciple occultist + Mass Bloodlust spell. I will eventually duplicate 20+ scrolls with the sphere and have conservable infinite diving power.
