Yea but it effects all of the enemies, you use the moon hunter to apply high attack poison then the necropolis full stacks so they take mega dps!

Thats my current strategy anyway.

I am still a little unclear on how Poison-stacking works.

If you have a low-attack creature (say Necropolis) that applies the first stack of Poison on an enemy, and then a high-attack creature adds extra stacks ... is the damage calculated based on who initially applied the poison? Or is the damage based on the highest-attack creature that has added stacks?

Does that question make sense?

It is based on the highest attack creature who has applied a stack of poison to that target, regardless of application order. (That is my understanding of it!)

Edit: Wow. That question got answered quickly. This is an awesome community.

Yeah, it also works if the target is poisoned by the necropolis first, as it will scale to the highest attacker that applies the poison.

Noxious Smog also has kind of low-ish attack. I think it works out well, though, since it encourages the use of high-attack poisoners like the Moon Hunter to compliment them.

In general, now that Poison scales of attack, it seems a bit odd to have a Poison ability on a low-attack creature. (I think Necropolis is the only example that I have come across of Poison on a low-attack creature, but I could be missing something.)

That would explain the fluctuation, thanks!

There's a bug that is causing Pestilent Thorns to apply damage based on the opposing creature's Attack.

Is the necropolis your only source of poison?

I have been using my necropolis as a tank, and it has very low attack because of this, but i seem to get very fluctuating damage as a result from applying poisons, especially against nethers compared to normal creatures. I havent pinpointed the weirdness completely, but it seems that it still is somehow affected by enemies stats in some way.

Description:
With about 400-600 it usually does about 4-5k damage each tick after stacking up to 10 stacks, but against high hp targets like nethers and / or the pandemonium king this damage can increase to anything between 10k - 21k per tick. I am just wondering what the reason for this is, since it is supposed to only do damage based on my creatures attack stat. Could this be some "hidden" cap on max stacking of poison damage per tick based on the enemies max hp and/or your attack?

Just trying to get a better understanding of why it varies so much.

Edit1:
My necropolis is the only source of poison damage in the team
