My apologies. Given the wording, i assumed this was a bug.

Fridens trait The Black states that enemies cannot ever be immune to blight, and yet it does NOT work vs the resistant nemesis affix. I believe this is a bug as enemies cannot ever be resistent to The Black.

I also believe that the Poison debuff should ALSO apply to resistent affixs teams due to the wording.

Im basing that off the fact that the Misery affix says you cannot gain buffs, but "gain" and "always have" arent the same thing. Misery prevents gaining buffs, but if a creature trait states it "always has" a buff then it STILL GETS THAT BUFF even vs Misery. Note that "start battle with X buff" on artifacts also allows you to have buffs vs Misery. This wording is consistent with stat boosts as well, as "having" higher stats (Exploitation) does not proc effects triggered from gaining stats (Blessing From Below).

If the wording is consistent, then The Black should ALSO cause the enemies to have Poison, since they arent "gaining" the debuff or being "afflicted" by the debuff, they "ALWAYS HAVE" the debuff. Just like creatures who "always have" a buff always have it, even vs the Nemesis affix that normally shuts it down.

This is a good fix imo as it actually allows for a Blight / Poison set up with Friden to get into CJ, whereas now most debuff centered builds are pretty lackluster (except PDC, but that can cast buffs to get around Resistent).

Id love your thoughts on this. This is the difference from Friden being pretty mehh vs a potentially fun God to build around

Ok! From my testing it seems to work consistently if i have my monsters attack each other (like casting sabotage on myself)

But proc'ing off attacking enemies is bugged, even when attack hits and deals damage

Just curious if i need to give more information or pictures. Its definitely bugged and it is hindering Screeching Barrage from being a viable trait to build a team around

While im here on a related topic, is it intended that traits that occur "when this/ally monster attacks" only proc if the attack both hits and deals at least 1 damage?

Good afternoon

Attached is a screenshot of battle history.

As you can see, starting at the top, I had 2 or 3 attacks launched without proc'ing screeching barrage, even though the attacks hit AND dealt damage (which appear to be requirements for a lot of on attack effects)

Neither remaining monster has any trait that would prevent Screeching Barrage from procing in spite of several allies successfully attacking and dealing damage.

Attached you will find screenshots of my mutated pulse bats speed before and after entering battle.

As you can see it does NOT gain 5% of all it's allies speed. It seems to gain roughly 5% of ONE allies speed... but not all 5.

Trait does not appear to work as advertised. All my creatures have this same issue w/horde.

There are no traits stopping its activation.

Attached is the battle history. As you can see, my silverclaw defended, then 2 other griffons followed. The other 3 did not.

In the first example my Griffon Dive Bomber did not defend. In the picure vs the mimic, only 2 griffons actually defended. This is repeatable and appears random as to who does and doesnt defend but it is CONSISTENTLY not everyone as it should be.

I have a team of 6 griffons. The griffon silverclaw effect is supposed to make all my griffons defend when 1 griffon defends.

However, im attaching screenshots showing some of the results of guarding with 1 griffon.

Which griffons actually defend is very inconsistent. Anywhere from 3 - 6 griffons defend, while the others inexplicably do not (and thus do not cast spells via wallflower)

There are no "chance to" effects that bring them out of defending after casting and no other monster effects blocking / hindering this effect.

This appears to be a bug and has been easily replicated (though again, with varying results as to who does and does not guard)
