I just walked into an ordinary battle (Nether Realm) and got a crash immediately.  Screenshot of the two parties attached, in case that helps at all.

That's great info, bluequakeralex.  However, it doesn't address the fact that so many eggs are dropping - I somehow doubt that averaging more than 1 egg per realm is by design.  :)

I'm seeing this as well.  For example, I just finished an artifact run (Q0->100) as part of a task list; I cleared every level completely.  I received 30(!) eggs total, an average of 1.5 eggs per realm(!!), all in the 60-70k gene strength range.  I got one from a treasure golem, one from digging up buried treasure from a map, and the rest from treasure chests.  Which realm didn't seem to matter; treasure chests were treasure chests.  For reference, I received about 35,000 crystal total from the trip, so I gained eggs about six times faster than I could hatch them (at 7000/hatch) - one treasure chest in Regalis' realm even gave me two eggs at once!

Thanks for the test, bluequakeralex.  I've also just confirmed that they do drop with sigils, so I suspect this is an issue specific to transmute.

Since they became available as creature types, I've been using Transmute to attempt to get a specific Gargantuan trait material.  I've transmuted literally hundreds of rare materials, but not only have not seen the material I'm looking for, I haven't seen a single trait material for ANY Gargantuan.  I also haven't seen any of them in any drops nor on any artifacts.

In other words, I've never seen a "Tree Trunk" material (i.e. Polished/Haunted/Self-preserving/Mangled/Enormous/Sturdy) or any artifact with one.  I've seen several instances of EVERY other creature base type that I know for sure is new:  Abomination Stiches, Bard Strings, Basilisk Husks, Centaur Tufts, Elf Poems, Nix Masks, Plague Doctor Phylacteries, Salamander Toes, Stag Antlers, and Vulpes Ears, so the odds seem extremely slim that there isn't a bug here.

Is there a bug where Gargantuan trait materials simply can't be created through Transmute and/or spawn at all, or am I just THAT unlucky?

Update: Replies have proven that they can at least be obtained via Sigils.

I took the following gem enchant steps:
Enchant Black Ice with Cast on Hit
Enchant (same gem) with Cast on Dodge
Enchant (same gem) with Cast when Dodged
Attempt to exit out of gem enchant menu using 'q' key.
Crash occurred.

After closing game and loading my save, the three enchants were still applied, so the game auto-saved after the last enchant but before the crash.  This also means I was not able to attempt to repro the crash a second time using the same steps.

Cast Earthquake when any enemy has at least one buff.
Expected: Buff removed
Observed: Buff remains
Suspected cause: It's removing a random buff out of all buffs instead of making sure to remove a buff that the target actually has.  If so, this effect might as well not be present on the spell.

Support / Glory + Minor Ressurection + Breath of Life issue

Equip a creature with Glory with Cast on Hit.
Equip the same creature with Minor Ressurection and Breath of Life.
Enter battle.
Get one creature killed.
Attack with the spell-equipped creature.
Trigger Glory.
Trigger Minor Ressurection which ressurects the dead creature with less than 100% health.
Trigger Breath of Life targeting the creature that was just ressurected.

Expected: Ressurected creature goes to 100% health.
Observed: Ressurected creature stays at less than 100% health.

Although I'm uncertain, I would guess that this bug would also repro when:
  Casting Glory directly
and/or
  Casting Minor Ressurection + other Healing Spell (e.g. Major Healing)

Suggestions / Show potential gene strength range when breeding

I can't tell whether it's better to breed a creature with gene strength 1000 to a creature with gene strength 0 or to breed two creatures each with gene strength 500.

It would be great if "offspring details" would also show the potential gene strength that could result, e.g. "gene strength 525-975".  The level would be great also for the case where you have the Smarter Eggs deity advantage (e.g. instead of always showing L1, show the level of the resulting creature).

"I'm starving!" should be the first choice - reusing an existing recipe happens way more often than trying to learn a new recipe.

Given my current resource levels, riddle dwarves have a 50% chance to provide me with a resource that I *really* don't need.  They would be significantly more useful if they always gave the resource I was lowest on.

Suggestions / Remove "fragments" from artifact realms.

There are never 5 fragments (e.g. shield fragment in Tartarith's realm) in artifact realms.  They shouldn't appear at all.
