... as many other players have expressed they are able to one-shot combat without having to use stat manipulation (which is great, I love diversity in games). I've seen many different, amazing combinations that people have come up with from all sorts of traits, and I am impressed with their ingenuity.

I suspect that currently it is too easy to build teams that can one-shot difficult fights (e.g. fights against high-level enemies). A balance pass may be needed later in early access might be needed to tone down a few strategies that go a bit too far in trivializing content.

Support / UI Bug in Breeding

Version : 0.16.2
Platform : Windows/Steam

I currently have three "Primed" Creatures

I go to the Breeding interface, select option to choose parents myself

I am shown all of my creatures and asked to select a Pedigree

I select a "Primed" Creature

I am then shown all of my creatures and asked to chose a Mate

I press the "Go Back" key ('q') to go back to Pedigree selection

I am asked to choose a Pedigree, but now instead of seeing all of my creatures, I am only shown the Three "Primed" Creatures

I believe this is a bug. When I go back ('q') to Pedigree selection from Mate selection, I should be given a list of ALL my creatures to choose from, not just my "Primed" creatures

I haven't played around much yet with the new Heredity system (although I will definitely experiment more with it now that getting creatures Primed is easier).

My question is how Health works with this system. Most creatures have Health stats that are somewhat higher than their other stats (not all creatures, but Health seems to be on average higher than other stats), and indeed I can't find any creature where Health is the lowest stat. (Even low-health creatures like Bats and Liches have some stat that is lower than their Health)

If creatures pass on a -1 Heredity for their lowest stat, does this mean that it isn't possible to get a negative Health Heredity? (or at least very difficult? There might be a creature that has Health as its lowest stat and I just missed it)

Similarly, is it true that half the creatures in the game pass on a +1 Health Heredity since they have Health as their highest stat?

Or is there something else that factors into the decision of whether or not to pass on a Health Heredity?

Still getting the Negative XP problem. My most recent fight for this save file was against Vext, the Ancient One. So, perhaps the problem is in how the game is awarding XP for story bosses?

(I also completed a quest in town, but I don't believe we get XP for story quest completions???)

So my basic ATK on one of my DH is 30k, 500% of which is over a million, which is exactly where it goes most battles, but 1/5th of the time its at maybe 300k MAX. Which puts me far too close to the same stats of the enemies i'm fighting at level 25k with CJ buffs. That's my issue, not getting above 500% just not getting anywhere close to it
If you want me to post my build and some screen shots i can, just lmk

Side Note: 500% is a 5x multiplier. That means that 500% of 30K is 150K

I'm finding eggs with 50 tomes applied to them with Regalis's talisman at 100, so even if they were rare it kind of breaks the game a little.

Yes! Getting the equivalent of 50 tomes in a single drop is absurd ... Especially given how frequent Egg drops are.. Something change here.

Tomes provide a flat bonus to base stats. There are no negative Tomes, just positive Tomes.

The egg stat bonuses are exactly the same as Tomes.

I strongly suspect that Egg bonuses are currently too common. (I also strongly suspect that CJ is currently too generous)

Yes. Which tells me that either Eggs should be dramatically less common or that only a small fraction of Eggs should have stat bonuses.

(Also, I strongly suspect that CJ is too generous, but that is a separate issue.)

Is the problem just that stat bonuses on Eggs are too common?

It seems that Egg stats are no more of a problem than Tomes if they are appropriately rare.
